Training
All workers must go through a period of training under the direct supervision of a qualified contractor. Requirements for all trainees are as follows….
- Pesticide Applicators Certificate
- First Aid - Level 1
- Proper and Appropriate Safety Equipment and Clothing
- WCB Coverage (Provided by Western Wood Services)
- Acknowledged entry into the trainee program
Contractors
All contractors who have met all of the necessary and regulatory requirements, and are approved by our clients, can work on our contracts. They will require….
- Pesticide Applicators Certificate (5 years)
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
- First Aid
- Current and Appropriate Drivers License
- Proof of Appropriate Vehicle Insurance
- WCB Coverage (Provided by Western Wood Services)
- Certified Documentation of Knowledge of Power Company’s Standards
- Company Safety Manual
